Reservations

  • State and Local taxes may apply
  • An advance deposit equaling one night’s stay is required at the time of booking
  • Group bookings may require a larger deposit
  • Peak Season weekends may require a 2-night minimum stay

General Cancellations

If cancellation occurs more than two weeks prior to your arrival date, a deposit less $15 cancellation fee (per room) will be refunded. If cancellation occurs within two weeks of your arrival date, a fully transferable gift certificate will be issued in the amount of the deposit, minus $15 cancellation fee (per room). Please speak to the innkeeper regarding our policies for group bookings.

Please note booking partners such as Booking.com, AirBnB.com, etc. may have different cancellation policies. Please carefully read their policy when booking through them. We recommend you book directly on our website.

Holiday Period Cancellations

If cancellation occurs more than four weeks prior to reservation date, your deposit will be refunded less a $15 cancellation fee. If cancellation occurs within four weeks of reservation date, NO refund or gift certificate will be issued and all rooms for all reserved days will be charged at full rates unless we are able to re-rent those rooms and dates. This policy includes the following holidays:

  • Memorial Day weekend (Friday through Monday)
  • Labor Day weekend (Friday through Monday)
  • Christmas / New Year’s week (December 24th – January 1st)

Children

Children 6 and older are welcome. If the entire B&B is booked by one group, children of any age are permitted.

Guest Pets

We don’t accept guest pets on the property. You can board your pet at Willow Tree Kennels only 5 minutes from Country Sunshine.

Service dogs are welcome. Please let us know when booking with us.

Additional Information

  • The innkeepers speak English and German
  • Country Sunshine is home to a friendly dog “Sonny” and a cat “Fonzie”
  • Guest Rooms are smoke-free. Smoking is only permitted outside
  • Alcohol consumption is permitted
  • Continental breakfast served in the morning
  • Fresh baked Country Sunshine cookies are always available, as are a variety of hot teas, hot chocolate, cold and hot water
  • The outdoor hot tub is always available
  • Ample off-street parking
